From June 23-25, 2023, PROSANOVA will enter its seventh round. Since 2005, this nationwide largest and best-known event for young, German-language contemporary literature has been held in Hildesheim every three years. More than 40 contemporary authors are invited to stage, celebrate and question their writing, their texts and literary processes in Hildesheim, to make them visible and, as it were, tangible, and to present them to a broad audience of literary professionals, Hildesheim citizens, students and national press representatives in more than 50 events. But not only that: in addition to readings, there will also be parties, music, poetics, performance, installations, stagings and everything in between.
